Action Alert
URGENT!! Tell Your Senators: Vote "Yes" on Reid-Clinton Amendment
In the next day, Senators Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton are expected to offer an amendment that will fund women's health and prevention programs. Right now, the vote is too close to call. Please call or email your senators and tell them to vote "yes" on the Reid- Clinton amendment to the Senate Budget Resolution. Your senators need to hear from you TODAY.
The Reid-Clinton amendment will set aside $100 million for programs that will make family planning more accessible, improve women's healthcare, and help young people to make responsible decisions about sexuality. These provisions all contribute to a common goal of strengthening families and encouraging responsible decisions.
Call both your Senators at 202-224-3121 (the U.S. Capitol Switchboard) or click on the link to our Legislative Action Center in the righthand column.
Be sure to say: Please vote yes on the Reid-Clinton amendment to the Senate budget resolution. This is a reasonable prevention package that all Senators should be able to support.
Thank you for keeping the faith for choice.
